The Company
Founded in 2007 in Gothenburg, Sweden, Roctim was established to commercialize innovative research from Chalmers University of Technology, transforming advanced rock-processing science into practical solutions for the mining and aggregates industry.
Our purpose is to help create a more efficient and sustainable minerals industry through engineering expertise, digital innovation, and scientific insight. By turning complex data into actionable knowledge, we enable better decision-making across the value chain.
Our vision is a future where sustainability and operational excellence go hand in hand. We believe that producers should be able to understand, optimize, and communicate the environmental and operational performance of their processes with confidence. Building on our research heritage and close connection with Chalmers University of Technology, we transform scientific innovation into practical tools that create measurable value for industry.

Our portfolio combines specialist engineering consultancy with powerful digital tools designed to support both operational improvement and sustainability initiatives. The Plantsmith Simulator enables producers to model, analyze, and optimize their processes before implementing changes in the real world, reducing risk while improving efficiency. Complementing this, our flagship solution, the Plantsmith EPD & LCA Generator, simplifies the creation of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), helping companies quantify, understand, and communicate the environmental impact of their products with confidence.
As sustainability and transparency become increasingly important across the minerals sector, we continue to develop solutions that help our customers balance operational performance with environmental responsibility. Operating at the intersection of Mining Technology, Engineering Consultancy, Digital Simulation, and Sustainability Software, we are committed to supporting the industry's transition towards a more sustainable future.
